CGServices USA

CGServices was founded in 1991 as Caledonian Group Services as a sole proprietorship. Starting with local businesses, Caledonian was soon servicing companies along the east coast through a partnership with Professional Financial Services in Westborough, MA. Most of the work was focused on the functional and managerial aspects of implementing ADP systems.

In 1996, Caledonian Group Services was changed to CGServices, and moved its operations to Indianapolis, where it was incorporated into CGServices USA Inc. Services were added to provide both functional and technical support as well as client executive sponsorship for the implementation of several different systems in one environment. Growth throughout the USA included many Fortune 50, 100, and 500 companies. Systems included PeopleSoft, Kronos, ADP, as well as custom applications and interfaces using Microsoft Access.

During this time, CGServices initiated two more endeavors – The HRIS World and The HRIS Career World. The HRIS World focuses on everything HRIS, HRMS, HCM, and HR technology – from project management to systems analysis to research. The HRIS Career World provides job listings, recruiting, and career management specifically for the HRIS industry.

With an eye on the future, in 2008 CGServices USA began providing advice and mentorship to the IT industry in Brazil, as CGServicos Brasil. Contributions to this endeavor have come in the form of articles contributed to TI Especialistas as well as providing marketing and promotional articles for Brazil’s IT-BPO. Our endeavors in Brazil have been growing just as quickly as their economy and you will be seeing a location open for us near São Paulo in March 2012.
