Here are the details of the new features – this listing will also be found as the first post in all our new location for our groups..

• Changes since last login are automatically displayed as soon as you login – no looking for updates!

• Post a comment – this is the home page as well as the discussion area. It maintains a list-serv structure so all threads remain with the original posting.

• Calendar- shared calendars to keep track of all group meetings, events, practices, deadlines, calls, and more. You can opt-in to receive text message and email reminders of upcoming events, customized the way you want them. You can schedule events for your whole group or just certain individuals. You can also import existing calendars into this calendar, or export your group’s calendar to any other calendar you already use. Your calendar will automatically adjust to your computer’s local time zone.Adding an event to the calendar allows you to select date, time (your time or use the all-day option), flag the event as recurring as daily, weekly, monthly or annually. You can set a reminder for your event anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 week before your event – and receive that reminder by text, email, or both. Who will receive your event notification is determined by you, including any sub-groups you may want to notify. All events can be scheduled a year in advance.Your calendar can be synched with your Google, Yahoo!, Outlook or Apple calendar…

• Folders – upload or create a file or add a link to a file to share. Store, edit documents, photos, audio, video, and links. You can make changes to Word documents and Excel spreadsheets from within the application, and all the previous versions of the file will be saved and bundled together for simple revisioning. Subfolders can be created as well.

• Host live Virtual Meetings, Conference Calls, and group Chat Rooms. Virtual Meetings include real-time video conferencing, screen sharing, file sharing and white boarding. These meeting features make it seamless to talk and collaborate with your group members when you’re not able to meet in person. Meetings automatically appear on the participants calendars.

• Polls to get your group members’ opinions quickly and easily. You can ask multiple choice, yes/no, or short answer questions. You can view the results in real-time as they come back, in an organized format.

• Messages lets you send mass text messages, emails, sticky notes and voice messages to your group members. You can easily get in touch with all of your members when you need them. (these are some powerful options and may be considered if this group votes to consent to its use).

• To-Do Lists to keep track of tasks, assignments, projects and more. You can assign certain items to certain individuals, and they can check items off the list as they are completed.

• Feedback option allows all users to provide suggestions or report bugs and problems… and unlike other services, the service provides a response to those needing one as long as you provide an email address.

• Demo account allows you to test features of the group without affecting anything in the production account.
